• Box office: Friday, September 25: 2pm–10pm. Saturday, September 26: 2pm–10pm. VIP upgrades are only at the Box Office on the day, subject to availability.
• Rideshare: Uber and Lyft drop off and pick up at the zMAX Dragway roundabout in front of the zMAX Dragway tower. Request a ride to "Breakaway Music Festival" in the app so you're dropped at zMAX Dragway, not Charlotte Motor Speedway.
• Lockers: Electronic lockers from $15, pay on-site or pre-book. Lockers are only good for the day they're bought.
• Lost and found: At the Guest Services booth during the festival. Afterwards, Charlotte Motor Speedway: 800-455-3267 or Guest-services@CharlotteMotorSpeedway.com.
• Shuttle: Post-show shuttle passes: $15 for 1 day, $25 for 2 days, sold on the festival site.
• Festival hours: Friday, September 25: 3pm–11pm. Saturday, September 26: 3pm–11pm.

Policies

• Age policy: Breakaway is an 18+ event, no exceptions. Certain ticket types (i.e. Space Deck Terrace) are 21+. Read each ticketing description prior to checkout for that ticket type's age restriction.
• Permitted items: Bags 14x6x14 or smaller (no backpacks or large bags; subject to search upon entry); point-and-shoot cameras (no detachable lenses); flags (no poles); empty hydration packs clear of all liquid with no more than two total pockets (one reservoir + one additional pocket), no larger than 14x6x14; one empty reusable water bottle per person (transparent plastic only, no larger than 1 liter); non-aerosol sunscreen, bug spray, deodorant, hand sanitizer and wet wipes (small/travel size); feminine hygiene products; glowing or illuminated costumes and jewelry; wearable glow accessories up to 16 oz.; cigarettes (unopened packs only), vapes, Juuls and other electronic smoking devices; hula hoops (including LED hoops), LED whips, poi & orbitals, gloves, microlights and flowlights; blankets, yoga mats, sheets, towels and moon mats; ponchos; small misting fans; earplugs; prescription medication (see medication rules).
• Medical food and diaper bags: Food for medical conditions such as diabetes and allergies is permitted (see Accessibility FAQ for details). Diaper bags and breast pump bags are exempt from the standard bag policy — they do not need to be clear and may exceed 14x6x14, but must be soft-sided, have no locked compartments, and are subject to security screening.
• Re entry: There is no same-day re-entry into the festival.
• Prescription medication: Must be in the pharmacy bottle with a current and valid prescription showing your name, medication name, and dosage. The name on your valid ID and prescription bottle must match. You must have a valid ID available upon request. You may only bring enough medication for one day; excess medication is not permitted. Medical supplies requiring disposal should be placed in designated sharps containers at Medical Tents. Inhaled medications (such as inhalers) are allowed only with a valid prescription following the same requirements.
• Weather policy: Breakaway is rain or shine. In rain and non-severe weather the festival continues as planned. In severe weather (lightning, high winds, tornadoes, etc.), under direction of local authorities and venue policies, the festival may be postponed until weather passes. No refunds will be issued. Announcements will be made from the Main Stage PA system.
• Cannabis policy: Marijuana and medical marijuana are not permitted in any form. Drugs of any kind (including cannabis and cannabis products) are prohibited without exception.
• Food and drink: Plenty of food vendors all day, and bars serving non-alcoholic drinks plus beer and liquor for those 21+. Outside food and drink isn't allowed (food for medical conditions is).
• Prohibited items: Large bags larger than 14x6x14, including backpacks; professional camera equipment (detachable lenses, tripods, battery packs, large commercial equipment); video cameras and GoPros; stickers; totems and poles; umbrellas; individual glow sticks, wands, and masks; chairs (foldable, lawn, inflatable, stools); seat cushions with backs; tents or pop-up shade structures; aerosol cans, spray paint, or pressurized cans; frisbees and sports balls; glass containers of any kind; selfie sticks; drones; weapons of any kind (including knives, pepper spray, stun guns, firearms regardless of concealed carry permit); food or beverages of any kind; illegal drugs, substances, or harmful chemicals; marijuana and medical marijuana; laser pointers, spray paint, and silly string; fireworks of any kind; whistles, air horns, and noisemakers; hoverboards, one-wheels, electric scooters; anything usable as a projectile or deemed dangerous; pets (service animals only). Surrendered items are not held and are disposed of immediately.
• Payment: Breakaway is a cashless event, although some non-food/beverage vendors may take cash.
