Runner ("we", "us") provides a text message based assistant that helps people navigate live events. Contact us at hello@runner.live.
Information we collect
- Your mobile phone number, provided when you opt in to our messaging program
- Messages you send to us and messages we send to you
- Event information you provide, such as which events you are attending and which performances you want reminders about
- Approximate location, only when you explicitly choose to share it
- Basic usage information such as message timestamps and delivery status
How we use it
We use this information solely to provide the service: answering your questions, sending you reminders and event updates, and carrying out actions you explicitly approve.
Mobile information and third parties
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Service providers
We use service providers to operate the service, including a messaging provider to deliver text messages and a cloud hosting provider to store data. These providers process information only to deliver the service on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your information for as long as you use the service. You may request deletion of all your data at any time by texting DELETE to our number or emailing hello@runner.live. We will delete your data within 30 days of a verified request.
Your choices
You may stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP. You may request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us at hello@runner.live.
Location data
We collect location only with your separate, explicit consent, and only to answer location-dependent questions. You may withdraw this consent at any time and we will delete stored location data.
Children
Our service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy and will post the revised version at this URL with a new date.
